From 11 to 13 February 2018 BIT - International Tourism Exchange comes back in Milan, a historical event organised by Fiera Milano that from 1980 to the fairgrounds of Fieramilanocity tourist operators and travellers from all over the world. For more than thirty years BIT promotes the meeting between decision-makers, industry experts and buyers carefully selected and profiles, coming from geographical areas with a higher rate of economic growth and from all sectors of the die. An event that is also formative with over a hundred between conferences and seminars on the latest industry trends.

One of the novelties of this year is definitely our participation in this event, which we will be present to meet and know all lovers of Italian villages and not only. The strong point of our mission we could not miss the bits, to promote those little treasures and the Italian excellence hidden in our villages.

The high-quality proposals that we're looking for together with you this year are many. Almost all regions will present, in addition to the many local: associations of municipalities, which Liguria together or Welcome in Puglia; art cities consortia from Veneto Region and Volterra Valdicecina Valdera; section Lombardia UNPLI, Unione Nazionale Pro Loco d'Italia, with an important role of representation for the smaller towns.

But also small villages of our peninsula. From the north, in Liguria Region, will be present at BIT Seborga, famous to preserve the ancient title of the Principality, while in Lombardy stands out the new entry lacustrine Bellano. From the center of Italy, two other regions there will be at BIT: from Lazio awarded resorts such as Bomarzo, known for the "monsters" of the Villa of Wonders, and from Umbria Region, Norcia, the homeland of St Benedict. From the south will be present Alberobello, in Puglia, with the unmistakable trulli, and Guardia Perticara, in Basilicata, with the characteristic narrow streets and steep staircases.

A heritage that this year BIT also promotes also thanks to special areas as A BIT of Taste and I Love Wedding. The first is dedicated to food and wine tourism, one of the main trends in the industry and among the main motivations that push the tourists to visit Italy: an occasion to discover the dishes symbol of the heritage of Italian culinary tradition through a path that crosses all the boot from Lombardy to Sicily, from Veneto to Tuscany, passing for the islands. Together with the Italian Regions, space has seen as protagonists also several international destinations in great growth for tourist interest, food and wine, as Romania and Moldova.

I Love Wedding instead will be entirely dedicated exclusively to honeymooners, a sector that knows no crisis, where it is more widely recognized that elsewhere the professionalism of tour operators. BIT proposes a program of free promotion, reserved to the Wedding Travel and Destination Segment for operators in the field outgoing or incoming with a Wedding Offer structured by proposing to question intermediata (travel agencies, wedding planner) and to the final customer.

Finally, thanks to a rich schedule of training events and to the Travel Academy directed to Travel Agents, Bit supports operators in best promote the Italian offer.
